PatentSC is designed to process subscriber account information, watchlist preferences, and public patent publication data. The first product scope does not require users to upload confidential invention disclosures.
Information we expect to collect
- Email address and billing status from Stripe.
- Selected companies, technology areas, patent-office coverage, and delivery frequency.
- Basic email delivery events needed to operate the service.
AI processing
AI processing should be configured so subscriber watchlists and report-generation inputs are not used to train public models. Production providers must be reviewed before launch.
Retention
The intended first-version posture is minimal retention: keep subscriber preferences and generated reports needed to deliver the subscription, and avoid storing unnecessary uploaded source files after processing.
