🔒 Your Data Privacy is Our Priority
Important: We do not store your data externally. All processing happens within your Google Sheet. Your patent data remains in your Google Sheets at all times and is never transmitted to or stored on external servers.
1. Introduction
IP Insight ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our Google Workspace Add-on for patent analytics.

- Google Sheets Data: The content of spreadsheets where you've installed and authorized IP Insight
- Google Account Information: Your email address and basic profile information for authentication purposes
- Add-on Settings: Your preferences and configuration settings for the add-on
3. How We Use Information
All data processing occurs locally within your Google Sheet environment. We use accessed information solely to:
- Perform patent analytics and classification as requested
- Generate visualizations and reports within your spreadsheet
- Provide competitor analysis features
- Authenticate your access to the add-on
- Improve our service functionality
4. Data Storage and Retention
No External Data Storage: IP Insight does not store, copy, or transmit your spreadsheet data to external servers. All patent data, analysis results, and visualizations remain exclusively within your Google Sheets environment.
We may store minimal authentication tokens and user preferences necessary for the add-on to function, but these do not include your spreadsheet content or patent data.
5. Google User Data Policy Compliance
